Initial Conversation
(30 - 40 min)
This initial conversation is a brief introductory video call with each individual who would like to engage in this process. It is an opportunity to get to know one another, answer any questions about this process and hear about what’s important to you.
During this conversation:
-
We identify the key elements, what the core needs are, and what is most important to each participant.
-
We begin to get the territory of the challenges, of what’s stuck, and of what needs clearing.
-
The path of our work is curated uniquely for each person and relationship. What is offered is emergent and evolves based on the needs that are revealed. We craft a plan specifically tailored to the individual, family, or organization.
-
This often includes a combination of individual sessions for support and fortification, as well as coming together for facilitated dialogues.
-
This initial conversation is a time to explore any collaboration with other providers on your support team (such as mental health professionals) in order to establish a coordinated, wholistic approach.
